Don’t get lost in Gambling
Not just the lads
The idea of a ‘problem gambler’ might conjure up the image of a man stood outside the local bookies with a copy of the Racing Post. But up to one million women in the UK are at risk from gambling harms, and the problem is growing behind closed doors. What can start out as a bit of fun in a bingo chatroom, can lead to addictive behaviours that see women lose track of the world around them.
Changing perceptions
We needed to change the common perception of problem gambling. Together with GambleAware, we launched a campaign to engage women around critical warning signs and where to seek support before gambling becomes harmful.

The campaign shows how the cartoon graphics and tinkly sound effects of online gambling can have a darker side, and can draw players away from the things that truly matter to them. It then directs those at risk towards help they can get immediately.
