A Golden Square goodbye from Alan & Angelo, creatives at M&C Saatchi up until November 2019.

We came into M&C on a three-month freelance contract. That was four years ago.

We’ve made a lot of work in that time and it’s hard to name a favourite. We love the work for Back Me Up we did with Chris Palmer. That was fun. Travelling to South America and Eastern Europe for Ballantine’s and Boiler Room was memorable to say the least. And some of the most interesting campaigns have been for Surfers Against Sewage (and our fantastic client Hugo). Especially the new ‘Undiscovered Creatures’ work.

But the main reason we’ve stayed at M&C so long is the people. Some of our best friends are here and they’ve made London and the agency feel like a second home for us.

Lastly thanks to The Coffee House, Shaston, Sun&13, The Crown, Glasshouse Stores, Duke Of Argyll and The Lyric for tolerating endless bad ideas and nonsense. And to JT and the ECDs for doing the same.

We haven’t even left yet and we’re already looking forward to coming back to London. We’ll always remember our time at Golden Square. Always.
